Lulu E. daughter of William and Nancy Funk, was born in Queen City, Mo., April 7, 1875.

She was united in marriage with Max Aldridge June 12, 1895. To them were born five children, one daughter dying in infancy. The father preceded her in death six years ago.

She is survived by one son and three daughters, Birney Aldridge of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Ruth Brown, also of St. Louis and Mrs. Modena Latshaw of Lafayette, Ind., and Mrs. Irene Tisdale of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and by four granddaughters, Betty Jean Walker, Bille Maxine Latshaw, Jeanine and Betty Lou Tisdale. Also by four brothers and one sister, William Funk of Kirksville, Mo., Fred of Worthington, Mo., Bert of Queen City, Mo., and Lee of Greenville, Pa, and Mrs. Grace Flynn of Queen City, Mo., other relatives and many friends.

She united with the Christian church in early girlhood and was ever a faithful Christian, interested in every department of the church’s activities. This world is better because she lived.

She had lived all of her life in and around Queen City until five years ago when she moved to near Poplar Bluff, Mo., where, after a brief illness, she passed away at the Poplar Bluff hospital, August 3, 1937, aged 62 years, 3 months and 8 days.

Funeral services were had in the Queen City Christian church August 6th at 10 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Perley M. Lind. The body was laid to rest by that of her husband in the Queen City cemetery.
