MRS. ANNA ADAMS, 69, DIES AT HOLLISTER

GLOUSTER--Mrs. Anna Adams, age 69, died at her home in Hollister, Sunday afternoon, following a long illness. She had been a resident of Hollister for more than 50 years. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Adams; one son, Leonard, of Akron; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Five sons and one daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the United Brethren Church at Hollister, at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Roy Standiford officiating. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery.

Anna was the daughter of Wenzel Herdlitzka, mother's name unknown by informant. Both of her parents were born in Germany.

Anna immigrated to the US in 1886 and married Josepeh on May 25, 1869 in Athens County, Ohio. The 1900 Census says that she had 3 living children but had had a total of 6 children.

The children named in the 1900 Census were; Sarah (b. 16 Aug 1891 in Trimle Township), Leonard (b.30 April 1897 in Hollister), and Daniel (b. 23 Sept 1899 in Hollister).
