Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today in Happy Cemetery in Happy.
Arrangements are by Holley Funeral Home of Canyon.
Dorothy was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Randall County to Jack and Mable Tucek-McBroom. She enjoyed attending Bible study with her friends at Windwood Village. She loved to garden and often cared for her friends' and neighbors' gardens. She was a homemaker and loved her Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include three daughters, Janie Braddock, Irene Norris and husband Jack, all of Amarillo, and Kathy Simmons and husband Ron of Hugoton, Kan.; a sister, Martha McBroom of Anniston, Ala.; four brothers, Everett of Friona, Delbert and wife Velma of Evansville, Colo., Alvin of Fritch and Billy of Happy; a sister-in-law, Darla McBroom of Lazbuddie; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
