STAYTON --- Joseph Becker, 73, native of Oregon and resident of the Stayton area for many, years, died Tuesday at his home in Sublimity.
Requiem mass will be said at St Boniface's Catholic church tn Sublimity Friday, December 1 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Carl Mai will officiate and Interment will be in the Sublimity cemetery. The rosary will be recited at Weddle's Funeral chapel in Stayton Thursday at 8 p.m.
Becker was born at Corvallis December 2, 1878, and had lived In Stayton before moving to Sublimity three years ago.
Surviving are his widow. Mrs. Rosa Becker, Sublimity, and five sisters, Mrs. Amanda Gescher, Stayton, Mrs. Tillla Gerhard and Mrs. Adaiine Rogers, both of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Rosa Reisterer and Mrs. Ida Steffes, both of Sublimity.
