Louisa Ellen Rodgers was married to James E Bosserman on 18 Oct 1869 in the home of her father, Milton A. Rodgers. She was born on 08 June 1852, in Harrisburg, Linn, Oregon. The Oregon State Legislators as set the title of Early Oregonian for those that lived in the Oregon Territory, before 1856.

Louisa and James Bosserman began farming near her parents farm (and the Pine Grove Cemetery) not far from Halsey and Peoria, Linn County, Oregon. Years later this was the same area their first daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Bosserman and her husband Beryman (Berry) Cummings farmed, raised a family and later were buried.

Louisa's parents were Milton A. (Kentucky) and Elizabeth (Tennessee) Rodgers. Please, read the posted Oregon Birth Certificate for their son
