Mrs. Anna Adams.

Mrs. Anna Adams, 80, early resident of Oregon, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Boge, in Hillsboro, yesterday morning. Mrs. Adams had been a resident of Hillsboro for more than 42 years. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Louise B. Rice, Seaside; Mrs. Mary F. Hoover and Mrs. Mattie Coffin, Portland, and Mrs. Eda Boge and Mrs. Emily Boge of Hillsboro, and two sons, Charles E. Adams of Amarillo, Tex., and James B. Adams of Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at the Glenn F. Ball mortuary, Hillsboro, Sunday at 2 P. M. Interment will be in the Hillsboro cemetery. MRS. ANNA ADAMS. Mrs. Anna Adams, 80, a resident of Washington County for 42 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eda Boge, at Farmington last Friday after but a few days illness. Anna Cassady was born July 8, 1845, in Bates County, Missouri; and was reared there. She was married to John Quincy Adams, April 14, 1860. They moved to Iowa in 1875 and came here in 1884, and she has lived in and near Hillsboro ever since. Mrs. Adams joined the Christian church early in life. She was a kind and loving woman and a faithful mother. She was the mother of James Adams of Farmington, Charles Adams of Annerillis, Texas, Mrs. Eda Boge and Mrs. Emily Boge of Farmington, Mrs. Louise Rice of Seaside, Mrs. Mary Hoover and Mrs. Mattie Coffin of Portland. Funeral services were held from the Bell Chapel Sunday afternoon with Rev. Len B. Fishback officiating. Interment was in the Hillsboro cemetery. (Hillsboro Argus, 04 Feb 1926)
