Hazel G. Abshier died in Klamath Falls on Thursday. She was 88.
Mrs. Abshier was born in Baker on July 29, 1894, to Ollie and Martha Booth Robinson, a pioneer family in Eastern Oregon.
She was a member of Eastern Star, White Shrine and Amaranth Lodge. She was also a member of the North Presbyterian Church of Denver.
Mrs. Abshier was preceded in death by her husband George in 1962.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Maples of Mobile, Ala., Catherine Vance, St. Louis, MO., and Virginia James, St. Louis; one stepson, Cliff Abshier, Mobile, Ala., two sisters, Inez DeLamater, Klamath Falls and Opal Perkins, Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She had been living in Klamath Falls with a sister, Lelia Waters, who preceded her in death.
