Anna Elizabeth “Beth” Allen

ALLEN, Anna Elizabeth “Beth” - Passed away the evening of May 12, 1998 in her home in Canyonville, Oregon. She was 97. She is the daughter of William J. and Electra C. (Davis) Pettit. She was born on March 19, 1901 at Elk Point, South Dakota. When she was one year old her parents moved across the Missouri River from Elk Point where she grew up in Northeastern Nebraska. In 1918 the family moved to Worland, Wyoming. She was united in marriage with Thomas W. Allen December 15, 1926. They went to Southern California where they made their home in La Puente. In 1943, they moved to Canyonville, Oregon. Her husband preceded her in death on April 23, 1986. Her nearest survivors are 18 cousins of whom she was the eldest all of the live out of of state. Funeral services will be held at the MOUNTAIN VIRE FUNERAL HOME on Friday, May 15, 1998 at 11 a.m. Pastor Kevin Wilfley will officiate. A committal service will follow at the Canyonville Masonic Cemetery Canyonville, Oregon.
