Noah Thomas Beason, living on the Oscar Glasscock place in Gooseneck Bend, died very suddenly at his home. Relatives at Hico were notified and arrived in time for the funeral held at the Gooseneck cemetery.
N.T. and Jane Beason owned 600 acres of land in the Gooseneck community by 1901. The land was sold in 1911.
