Nestora was survived by her sons: George and Roger Abeyta; daughters: Juliette Huartson, Helen Sanchez and husband Frank, Gloria Abeyta and husband Harry Sinsheimer, Jane Morales and husband Frank; 14 grandchildren; special friends Carmen Sena and Josie Maestas; and many other relatives.
A Rosary was recited on 11 May 2004 at St. Gertrude's Church in Mora. Funeral service was on 12 May 2004 at the same church. Burial followed in the San Isidro Cemetery in Holman.
