John A. Bauler passed away Oct. 1, 2008, at his home in Thatcher, Ariz. He was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Springer. He was the 14th of 15 children born to John and Iris Bauler.

John was a bookkeeper and had a landscaping service. He was a friend to all and to anyone who needed help he was always there.

John was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife Linda of 44 years of the family home; one daughter, Lynnette and husband Steve of Greeley, Colo.; two sons, John Jr. and wife Lia of Anthem, Ariz., and Michael and wife Amanda of Camas, Wash.; and eight grandchildren, Joshua, Rebekah, Jonathan, Jacob, Lilly, Hannah, Esther and Abigail. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Springer. The interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Wagon Mound.
