Funeral services were held on January 30th at St. Peter's Evangelical Church. Burial was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Alberswerth was born in Detmold, Mo., on April 2, 1868, where she was christened and confirmed and where she received her education. She remained with her parents on the farm until her marriage to August Alberswerth on November 7, 1901. Thereafter they made their home in New Haven. Since 1913 she has resided in Washington. Two children were born to this marriage, one of whom she leaves to mourn her loss. Deceased will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. She was a devoted mother and sister, a kind friend and neighbor, and her many good deeds will be cherished by all. She was in failing health for the past year and seriously ill the past month.
Deceased was a member of St. Peter's Church and the Mary Martha Circle.
Preceding her in death was one daughter in infancy, and her husband on August 6, 1918.
Surviving is one son, Milfred Alberswerth, Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Schroeder, Washington, and Mrs. P. M. Ahring, San Francisco, California; four brothers, William, Charles and Henry Lohse, Washington, and Chris Lohse, St. Clair; other relatives and many friends.
