I have a hard time imagining, Louisa traveling back to South Carolina to have her baby when she was taking care of all the other children and her husband had passed away.

If you have documentation showing his birthplace as S.C., please post copies of it onto findagrave. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of Louisa pregnant, feeding and ensuring the health of all the older siblings, traveling by covered wagon back to S.C., having her child then traveling back on the perilous journey with a newborn. I just don't see it.

Is it possible, you've combined two people into a single individual?
