Herman Hurley, age 61 years, a resident of Vienna, IL, passed away Friday afternoon, August 15, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Herman was born December 23, 1941 in Johnson County Illinois. He was the son of Marvin and Vivian (Thornton) Hurley and foster son of Herman "H.H." and Essie Hudgens.
Herman was united in marriage to Lucretia (Austin) in goreville, IL in 1968. She survives.
Other survivors include: a Brother - Loy Hurley; Several Cousins, and a Nephew.
In addition to his Parents, Herman was preceded in death by a Sister, Lucille Gregory.
Herman had attended the Goreville Public School. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed collecting tools & knives. He had worked as a construction laborer.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, August 18, 2003, at 1 PM at the Friendship Cemetery, near Goreville, IL. Rev. Kevin McNeely will officiate.
