Lois H. Adcock, 82, of Bloomfield, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Lyons Health & Living Center.
Born April 27, 1928 in Graham, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Frank and Nerva (Gossett) Green.
She was a food service worker for Pielemeier, Bloomfield Steak House and the Landing in Bloomfield. She was a member of Furnace Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include: three sons, James Adcock, Michael Adcock, and Jerry Adcock all of Bloomfield; two sisters Janice of Graham, Kentucky and Brenda of Greenville, Kentucky; one brother, Dave of Graham, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jimmy Adcock, Adam Adcock, Andrea Hesch, and Tim Adcock; four great-grandchildren, A.J. Adcock, Brent Adcock, Tristan Adcock, and Evan Hesch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald K. Adcock on November 24, 1998, five brothers and sisters, and her parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 at Walnut Grove cemetery, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Walnut Grove cemetery in care of the funeral home.
