Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rose Brubaker, daughter of Moses Brubaker and Susannah Grisso, married 27 December 1899 in Rice Co., Kansas, USA, to William Ross Brubaker, William and Lizzie had three children:
Jonathan Gilbert Brubaker,

Mother Of Local Woman Dies In Clinic Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Brubaker, Cordell, mother of Mrs. Price Howell of Carnegie, are tentatively set for Friday at the Church of the Brethern east of Cordell. Mrs. Brubaker died about 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Vurd Clinic in Carnegie.
Mrs. Brubaker, a pioneer Washita resident, and her late husband, homesteaded on a farm near Cordell shortly after the opening of that area for settlement. Her husband preceded her in death in February, 1952.
She had been in ill health about a year and had been in the Curd clinic about three months. She had been critically ill for several days. She was 83 years of age.
Survivors include eight daughters and one son;
Mrs. W.L. Hamit, Oklahoma City;
Mrs. Ira Shreiner, Caldwell, Idaho;
Mrs. Roy Brubaker, Denver;
Mrs. Mark Heathcoat, Weatherford;
Mrs. John Best,
Mrs. Chester Quine and
Miss Lula Brubaker, all of Cordell;
Mrs. Price Howell, Carnegie; and
Gilbert Brubaker, Napa, Idaho.
