Died of dropsy on 1 March 1895 at the home of her son-in-law, Mrs. James Huskey, living ten miles south of Rolla, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Huskey, aged 71 yrs, 8 mos and 13 da.

Sister Huskey was three times married: first to George Dillard in 1843, after whose death, she was again married to John Neace in 1852, and after his death was married to Daniel Huskey who passed away only three months ago.

Sister Huskey leaves behind 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters: Mrs. William Hance, Mrs. James Huskey, and Mr. Marion Nease, all of Rolla, Phelps Co, and Mr. John Neace of Antlers, Texas Co, MO, who mourn the loss of a kind mother and dear friend. But we sorrow not as those who have no hope. and we now think of her as being asleep in Jesus. Written by L. D. Moneymaker
