FINAL RITES FOR DIANA BARNHOUSE

Diana Louise Barnhouse was born August 3, 1941 in Los Angeles, California and passed away after a brief illness September 4, 1960 at Jefferson City, Mo.

Diana was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lee Pickens of Glenwood, Mo. She was about six years of age when she moved to the Glenwood community. She gave her heart to Christ and became a member of the Glenwood Methodist Church on Easter morning in 1959.

She was united in marriage to Charles Daniel Barnhouse on June 28, 1959 in the Glenwood Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Elwyn Gale. She is survived by her husband, mother and father, four sisters, Sandra, Susan, Cathy and Janis and many friends

Funeral services were at the Glenwood Methodist Church, Wednesday, September 7, 1960 by Rev. John Ward, Sr.

Music was by Guy Gardine with Ruth Bigsby as pianist.

Selections were "In the Garden" and "Sometime We'll Understand."

Escorts were David Welsh, Jimmie McGoldrick, Ronnie Martin, Steve Croskey, Kenny Toney and Payton Murrell Smyser.

Flower bearers were Marjorie McGoldrick, Jeanne Willier, Barbara Gower and Winona Burnett.

Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Glenwood.

Funeral arrangements were by Norman’s where the body remained until 12:00 o’clock noon when it was taken to the Methodist Church in Glenwood.
