She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; an infant son; a grandson, Rusty Adams; and a sister, Helen Barker.
Frieda is survived by a daughter, Venita Jones, and her husband, Timothy, of Camdenton, Missouri; a son, Jerry Adams, and his wife, Carolyn, of Branch, Missouri; four grandchildren, Glenn K. Adams, of Camdenton, Missouri, Kelly D. Jones, of Union, Missouri, Michael S. She was raised in Odessa, Missouri, and attended school there. She continued to make her home in Odessa until 1951 when she moved to Wichita, Kansas. Then, in 1957, she moved to Camdenton, Missouri, where she lovingly raised her children. Besides being a devoted homemaker to her family, she worked at a dime store in Camdenton, at the IGA Store, and the school store in the Camdenton High School. She also owned the Camdenton Court and ran the old Harwood Hotel at one time.
Frieda had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Camdenton.
She was a talented seamstress and had done sewing for people across the area for many years. Among her many creations were several outstanding wedding dresses and the first cheerleading uniforms for the Camdenton High School. In her spare time she enjoyed working in her garden where she grew many beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Frieda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends.
