Sally G. Roane-Bates, age 43, passed away in Campbellton, Texas on February 2, 2008.
Sally was a 1982 graduate of Pleasanton High school and she attended Cowboy Fellowship. She loved her family and friends. She had great compassion for animals and gardening.
Although she had lived in Ohio and Oregon with her husband and daughter, she had recently returned to her beloved Campbellton.
Sally is survived by her husband, Jerry Bates, daughter Mikayla Roane, mother Hattie Hierholzer and husband Kenneth, father Norman Earl Roane and wife Chulina (deceased), and mother-in-law and father-in-law Ellen and David Bates. She is also survived by her brother Jason Roane and wife Sherri, sister Renee Schorsch and husband Grady, brother-in-law Randy Bates and wife Susan, as well as nieces Kara Roane, Alexandra Roane, Claire Roane, Bronte Bates and Mason Bates and nephews Henry D. Schorsch and Josiah Schorsch.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 West Oaklawn Road, Pleasanton from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 6, 2008. The funeral service will be at Hurley Funeral Home (Pleasanton) at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 7, 2008. Interment will be at the Campbellton City Cemetery in Campbellton, Texas.
