Mary Eltise Aday, 83, of Nitrate City, passed away Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009. Visitation was Monday at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, of Florence. The funeral service was Tuesday, Oct. 20, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Tim Spivey and Doug Pate officiating. Burial was in Shaw Cemetery. She was the wife of the late George Eugene Aday. She was a member of East Colbert Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Eugene Aday, and daughters, Mavanell Turner and Sue Aday. She is survived by her son, Marshall Aday; daughters, Elaine Aday, Patricia Pate and Marilyn Thornton; and sister, Josephine Aday. Spry-Williams Funeral Home is directing.
