--Ann was 3rd of 10 children of Paris Alexander (1775-1848) & his wife Dinah Eugenia Neely. About 10 years after Ann's death, her parents relocated from the Steele Creek community to Madison County, Tennessee, to the community of Denmark. This is why no other family members are buried near Ann. All her siblings moved to Tennessee, except for her oldest brother Thomas Neely Alexander, who remained in Mecklenburg County. He was an elder at Sharon Presbyterian Church and was buried in their cemetery in 1855.
