Ricky Eugene Alexander, age 49, of New Haven, Mo, formerly of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in New Haven, Missouri.
Ricky was born on November 5, 1959, at Ft. Bragg, NC, a son to Harold E. Alexander and Josephine (Cantrell) Price. On April 4, 1980, he married Gayle (Muholland) McCormick in Eden, IL and she survives. He was a member of the Loyalty Missionary Baptist Church, Eden, IL, worked in maintenance and as a mechanic in Houston, TX and loved motorcycles, four-wheelers and swimming.
He is survived by his mother: Josephine Price of Coulterville, IL his father: James N. Price of Coulterville, IL, one son: Justin Alexander of Steeleville, IL, two daughters: Sarah and Christina Alexander of Houston, TX, one brother: Luther Kyle Price of Coulterville, IL, two sisters: Dora I. Harvey of Coulterville, IL and Tammie Ashlock of Centralia, IL, one grandchild: Michael Heath Alexander, special friends: Raney Henderson and Anna Castro and dear uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father: Harold Alexander, grandparents: Louis and Dora Cantrell, Edwin and Blanche Alexander and Mary Rainey.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Wilber Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00p.m.
