PEAL-BOYD A beautiful home marriage was solemnized at the home of the bride's father, Mr. George Boyd, near Pinetown, on Wednesday afternoon, October 1st, at 4:30 o'clock, the contracting parties being Miss Julia Boyd, one of Beaufort county's most attractive young ladies, and Mr. Hosea Peal, the prosperous carriage manufacturer of this town.

Hosea Peal Dead.
After a brief illness of pneumonia Mr. Hosea Peal died at his home in this town on Sunday morning last, aged 67 years. The deceased had been three times married, his last wife being before marriage Miss Julia Boyd, who, with four children survive him. The children by former marriages surviving are, Mrs. J. W. Oden. of Washington. N. C, W. D, Peal of Creswell, and L. A. Peal of this town. The remains were laid to rest Rev. M. B. Williford in Brinkley Cemetery.
