Marion Alvin Fritz, 84, of Fulton, died Monday, November 27, 2000, at Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born March 29, 1916, in Warrenton, the son of the late Joseph and America May (Thurman) Fritz. He married Bernice Rieger, June 23, 1939, in Warrenton. She survives at the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Alvin Fritz and Ronnie Fritz, both of Fulton, two sisters, Rose Knobloch of Fulton and Frances Cullen of Hermann, two brothers, Chester Fritz of Richmond, Virginia and Joe Fritz of Fulton, four grandsons, Corey, Michael, Kevin and Douglas, four step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fritz was also preceeded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Fritz owned Fritz Welding until his retirement in 1981.
Private family services are being held today at the Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Fulton with the Reverand Stephen Sowder officiating.
Services are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home in Fulton.
