Jennifer Lynn Horstmann, 41, formerly of Silver Lake, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at  Hutchinson Health.  At the time of her death she had been residing at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson, Minnnesota.
Jennifer was born on February 25, 1976 to Robert and Diane Horstmann at the Hutchinson Hospital.  She was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Silver Lake.  She attended the Catholic and Public Schools in Silver Lake graduating in 1994.
She enjoyed going shopping, going to the lake, and spending time with friends.  Jennifer had one daughter, Ashley, who was her pride and joy.  Jennifer was blessed with two granddaughters.  She held employment at Telex and Seneca until her disability didn’t allow her to work.  She grew up on the family farm in Rich Valley Township, where she resided until August 2016, when she entered St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted.  In March of 2017 she moved to the Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her dad in 1988, her grandparents Henry “Hank” and Luverna Horstmann and Joe and Agnes Schultz and by her uncle Brad Horstmann.
She is survived by her daughter Ashley; mother: Diane Horstmann; grandchildren: McKenna and Abigail Travis; brothers: Brian Horstmann and Ross Horstmann and significant other Lisa Blazinski; her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and great nieces and nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jennifer Lynn Horstmann will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake.  Father Tony Stubeda will be the Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 4-7 P.M. at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake.  Further visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19th from 9-10 A.M.  at the funeral home.
Music provided by the Holy Family Adult Choir.  Organist for the Mass is Alice Nowak.  Congregational hymns will be “Here I Am Lord”, “You are Mine”, “I am the Bread of Life”, “On this Day”, “Song of Farewell” and “How Great Thou Art”.
Casket Bearers Daryl Pawlicki, Jason Pawlicki, Kyle Pawlicki, Lori Schlueter, Stacy Dose and Teri Friauf.
