this is Mary Getz, second wife of Adam Ketterman, SR. She was born Sept 10, 1834 and died Oct 11, 1917. She is the daughter of Jacob Getz and Elizabeth Detrick. We have always called this cemetery Ketterman Cemetery and we believe that Jacob and Margaret are the oldest graves. I added them today. It is located on what the family called Ketterman Mountain or Middle Mountain, the family homestead. Jacob and Margaret are my 4th great grand parents
Information Given by Mary L Miller

Again we are called upon to register the death of another of the dear old aunts
of our community; another sweet life is ended, another chair is vacant which
never can be filled.
On the 11th of October, the death angel visited the home of Adam Ketterman, Jr.,
and claimed Aunt Mary as his victim. The death of aunt cast a shadow of grief
over the entire community. It was here she was born and lived 83 years, 1 month
and 1 day. A number of years ago she was united in marriage to Adam Ketterman,
Sr., who had preceded her to the spirit world years ago. Since her husband's
death she lived with her stepson.
In infancy she was made a member of Christ by the Sacrament of the Holy Baptism
and in youth she was admitted to the Ev. Lutheran church by the rite of
confirmation, to which she was a faithful and consistent member.
The burial services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. G.P. Schmidt, after which
the remains were laid to rest in the family burying ground. Yes, Aunt Mary will
be missed by all. She was kind and true to everybody, but she is now gone to
rest in that beautiful home where there is no suffering. A little mound now
marks where aunt reposes.
She has gone from our earthly sight forever, but her influence will live on and
on and our loss is but heaven's gain.
A Friend.
