Funeral services for Elvis Lee Aycox, 66, of Giddings were scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at the Bateman Center with Rev. Leslie Chandler, Jr. officiating, with burial in the Moab Cemetery near Fedor.

Mr. Aycox died March 29, 2007 at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. Elvis was born Dec. 8, 1940
in Giddings, the son of Link and Ellen (Brown) Fillmore. He was a retired truck driver for Tesora, Inc., and enjoyed playing dominoes. Mr. Aycox was preceded in death by his father; sister, Vivian Jane Fillmore; grandparents, Nathaniel and Annie
Maxfield and two grandchildren. Survivors include his daughters Tonya Aycox of Giddings and Kathy Whitley of Fort Worth, Son Jerome Aycox of Giddings: mother. Ellen Fillmore of Giddings; sisters, Judith Huff and Kathleen and Bobby Martin, all of Giddings; brother, Jeffrey and Lisa Fillmore of Bryan; grandchildren, Kevin, Tyeska, Joyrean,
Wanye, DeTavian; two greatgrandchildren; special friend, Sandra Tarver of Oklahoma.
