Birth: Aug. 4, 1920
Death: Oct. 30, 1971

William Ball Jr., 51, Fallentimber, dead on arrival at 10 a.m. Oct. 30, at the Altoona Hospital. Born August 4, 1920, in Utahville, a son of George W. and Amanda (Montgomery) Ball. Survived by his wife, the former, Geneva Knotts and the following children: Ronald, Richard, Brenda Kay and Bonnie Lee, all at home. Also surviving is a brother, Leonard, Florida; and sisters: Mrs. Pearl Laughard, Ramey, Pa.; Mrs. Ruth Keith, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Mrs. Anna Mulhollem, Irvona R. D. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Richard L. Beers Post 7042, VFW, Coalport and the Irvona Clay Workers Club. Friends were received at the Russell L. Troxell Funeral Home, Glasgow, where services were held on Tuesday by the Rev. Richard C. Baker. Interment followed with graveside military services by the Coalport VFW, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Utahville, Pa.
