Mrs. Mary Catherine "Kitty" Allen Barnes, of Raleigh, formerly Goldsboro and White Lake, died Monday in Raleigh, NC.
Mrs. Barnes, born in Cook County, GA; was the daughter of the late Roy B. Allen and Catherine C. Allen.
Mrs. Barnes was a graduate of Shorter College in Rome, GA; and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Henson Perrymore Barnes of the home, two daughters, Rebecca B. Kinsey and husband Jay of Goldsboro, NC; and Amy B. Babb of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren, John Kinsey, Jonathan Babb and Brooke Babb.
The funeral services were held at graveside 11 am, Friday, November 7, 2014 at Beard's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, White Lake, NC.
The Carter Funeral home were in charge of arrangements.
