James Wayne Adkins, 75, of Russellville, Ala., a former resident of this area, died June 10, 2010. He was the brother of LD Adkins of Union City.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at North Highlands Church of Christ in Russellville, with burial to follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville. Keith Barnett will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Odie Adkins, Carl Adkins, Wyatt Adkins, Carl Edward Adkins, Chip Adkins, Jeff Teague and Larry Napier. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Hester, Johnny Thornton, Gary Gunderman, Mickey Spillers, Chris Wallace and Butch Drake.
