Services for James E. Allen, 86 of Russellville were held Thursday, November 10, 1983 at 2 p.m. from the Nazarene Church in Russellville with Rev. William Reese officiating.
Burial followed in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
A native of Colbert County, a member of the Nazarene Church and a World War II Veteran, Allen died November 8 in the Humana Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ocie Jane Allen, Russellville; four daughters, Mrs. Betty McAnally, Russellville, Mrs. Marie Pickens, Russellville, Mrs. Ruth Michael, Russellville and Mrs. Annie Michael, Russellville; one son Miles Allen, Russellville; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Spry Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
