Mrs. Ann Hall, age 74, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (November 2, 2014) at her home. Born July 13, 1940 in War, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Noah “Andy” and Dorothy Robinson Garrison. A 1958 graduate of Honaker High School, she had spent most of her life in the Honaker area. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Miller Creek Community Church at Swords Creek, Virginia. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 2 Timothy 4:7.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Hall, two brothers, N.J. Garrison, Jr., and Glenn Garrison, and three sisters, Carolyn Hutchinson, Mary Ellen Keffer, and Grace Taylor.
Survivors include one daughter, Wendy Hall of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Rebecca Hall and Mark and Vicki Hall all of Honaker; one sister, Jean Jessee and husband, Jack of Narrows, Virginia; one brother, Duard Garrison and wife, Della of Pembroke, West Virginia; special friend and sister-in-law, Gracie Garrison; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Shortridge and Hazel Hall; two brothers-in-law, Bud Taylor and Charlie Keffer; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Leo Hess officiating. Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery on Big A Mountain, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be D.J. Hall, Justin Hall, Ryhan Hall, Ty Hall, Jordon Dye, Dakota Hall, Zack Melvin, Eric Adams, and Talan Hall.
Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Monday where an evening song service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
