GLOUCESTER POINT - Beda Voigt Becker, 88, owner and operator of Highland Antiques in Gloucester for 16 years, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, at his residence. A native of Newark, N.J., he was a building contractor in Newport News before coming to Gloucester. A graveside service was conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Abingdon Episcopal Church Cemetery by the Rev. Dennis J.J. Schmidt. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to a favorite charity. Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, is in charge.
