Orangeburg - Mrs. Maude Kittrell Cook, 82, of 6989 North Road, died Friday, December 9, 2005, at Jolley Acres Health Care Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 11, at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Smoak officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Cook was born November 16, 1923, in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Lee Kittrell and the late Viola Dempsey Kittrell. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was the widow of J. B. Cook. Survivors include two sons, Larry Cook, of North and Johnny Cook, of Orangeburg; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel Strickland, of North, Mary Pearl Murray and Clara Sweatman, both of Canaan community; one brother, Malcolm Kittrell, of North; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the residence, 6989 North Road, Orangeburg, and at the funeral home.
