Kermit Lee Robertson passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in Tulsa. He was 58.
Kermit was born in Clovis, N.M., May 22, 1951, to Billy Dale and Mary Alice Harper Robertson. He grew up in Ponca City and attended Ponca City High School. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He later completed his Master's Degree in Bio Environmental Engineering at Oklahoma State University.
Kermit is remembered by his father, Bill; brother, Royce; brother, Glen and his wife Lori; sister, Cindy Renfro and her husband Gary; brother, Mark and his wife Melanie; son, Brandon Disney and his wife Andrea; son, Michael Disney and his wife Brooke; daughter, Alison Anderson and her husband Jeff; and his grandchildren, Cole, Ethan and Kellen Disney, and Soleil and Ilex Disney.
He was a deeply spiritual man who found comfort and strength in the teachings of the Bible. An enthusiastic fan of Sooner football, he also enjoyed visiting with the neighbors and keeping a watchful eye over his community.
His memorial service was held Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa with interment in the Asbury Columbarium and Prayer Garden.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Kermit's honor to the Mental Health Association in Tulsa, 1870 South Boulder, Tulsa, OK 74119-5234.
