Per Federal Census records, Nathanael was the second of seven surviving children (siblings: Christian Reinhold, Mary Theresa, Emma, Gottlieb, Jacob Henry & Charles Edward) born to Christian & Lydia ( Manderlin) Lentz; who married in 1882 in Russia . In the 1900 Census, his mother stated she lost one other child in infancy.

Specific Birth place = Brienne, Akkerman, Bessarabia, Russie (Russia) — now part of Ukraine.

Per Washington Death Certificate, he died at Holy Family Hospital from a heart attack, secondary to pneumonia after fall at home.
