Mary attended Cairo School and graduated from Coalgate High School in 1950. She attended Draughon's School of Business in Dallas, TX. She was an accountant. She married J. O. Cravens on Dec. 29, 1956 in Coalgate, OK. She is survived by her husband; daughters, Dayna Cravens of Fittstown, OK and Johna Cravens of Fittstown, OK; brothers, Vernon Ward, Fittstown, OK, Doug Ward, Coalgate, OK, Jim Ward and wife Carol of Pittsburg, OK, Bill Ward of Coalgate, OK, J. C. Ward and wife Murl of Coalgate and Jack Ward of Frisco, TX; sisters, Melva Thomas and husband Bob of Coalgate, OK, Maxine Pulliam and husband K. D. of Bristow, OK; Barbara Girod of Glenpool, OK and Betty Wilson and husband Irlan of Coalgate, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Burney and Don Ward. Services will be Monday, July 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Ward Family Cemetery with Rev. Brad Curtis and Rev. Mike Fletcher officiating. Casketbearers will be Bob Warner, Terry Postrach, Butch Stewart, Bob Byrd, Ron Britt, Bob Sherry. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Jordan, Red Duffin, Sandy Burns, Jan Storey, Wayne Cobb, Gene Davis, Doug Williams, Marilyn Jones, Gary Shilling, Jerry Belles.
