ESTHER BEDROYA Portage, Indiana Age 57, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007. She was born on June 23, 1949 in Rezaaehh, Iran, the daughter of Elia and Rosa (Pourbabi) Yousef. Esther became a United States Citizen in 1979. Esther was a wonderful homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gourmet cooking, loved being outdoors, walking, and her great joy was being with her grandchildren. Esther is survived by her loving family: daughter, Maggie (Troy) Quick, Valparaiso, Missy (Richard) Ostertag, Portage, and Monica Bedroya, Portage; 3 grandchildren: Alexis, Carson, and Gavin Quick, Valparaiso; parents, Elia and Rosa Yousef, Turlock, CA; sisters, Carlen Ward, Roomi Yousef, Shamiran Yousef, and Carmen Benjamin; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family and dear friends. Esther was preceded in death by her son Mark Matthew Bedroya on December 29, 1976. Visitation for Esther Bedroya will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the United Pentecostal Church of Portage, 2865 Willowcreek Road, Portage. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the United Pentecostal Church with Reverend James R. Fielder, officiating. Interment will follow at Heritage Cemetery in Portage. Memorials in Esther's memory may be made to the Bedroya family. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel were in charge of local arrangements.
