Charlotte Yvonne Armstrong, age 60 of Valparaiso, passed away June 11, 2013. She was born on July 13, 1952 in Gary, IN to John F. and Eunice (Westerland) Sullivan who preceded her in death. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Billy Armstrong of Valparaiso; son, John (Kristin) Armstrong of South Haven; daughter, Mellissa (Dennis) Miles of South Haven; brother, Ronald Sullivan of Demotte; sister, Janet Lavender of Portage; grandchildren: Lauren Miles, Lindsey Miles, Logan Miles; and sister-in-law, Becky Sullivan. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Lee Armstrong; brother, Harold Sullivan; brother-in-law, Jack Lavender; and sister-in-law, Donna Sullivan. Charlotte loved crafting. She enjoyed making dolls which she sold on the internet and she loved spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Heritage Cemetery, Portage, IN.
