Elizabeth was the daughter of Randeal & Rebekah (Goszler) Morris. Elizabeth was buried at the German Luthern Church Cemetery, but later her remains were moved to an unknown location. Records were lost in a fire at the church in the late 1800's, and no information is available on where the bodies were taken to. This information was obtained from the "History of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Georgetown DC". This booklet was prepared for their 140th anniversary on October 31, 1909. (See page 8, para. 2) Three of the oldest tombstones still standing near the present church tell the story of life and death in the later part of the 18th century. Elizabeth's early inscription read as follows:
"In memory of Elizabeth Morris, Daughter of Randeal & Rebekah Morris. Born Jan. 10, 1795. Died June 25, 1796."
