PAWNEE — Claude Darren Dailey, resident of Perry, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, in Perry. He was 32.
The funeral will be held at noon Monday, Sept. 10, in the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center in Red Rock. Burial will be held in John Dailey Cemetery in Perry under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home of Perry.
Claude Darren Dailey was born Jan. 20, 1969, in Escondido, Calif., the son of Claude A. and Patsy R. Swan Dailey. He moved from California to Oklahoma in 1970. He ran track in high school at Carl Albert in Midwest City, winning many medals. He also attended Perry High School and Pioneer Vo-Tech. He was a carpenter, brick layer and tile setter. He enjoyed fishing, play ball and camping. He was affiliated with the Baptist church.
Survivors include his parents; two daughters, Patsy Dailey and Dee Dee Dailey, both of Red Rock; two sons, Robert Dailey of Red Rock and Claude Donald Dailey of Blanchard; two brothers, Richard Mitts of Idaho and Harold Mitts of Harrah; his grandparents, Ova Dailey of Perry and Clifton James Swan and Jean Swan of Morrison, Ill.; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Mitts.
