Surviving are two sons, Wallace and Walter Brooks, both of Baltimore, five daughters, Mrs. Irene Acors and Miss Ruth Brooks of Brokenburg. Mrs Lee Loyd, of McHenry, Mrs. A. S. Atchison, of Richmond, and Mrs F. R. Leffers, of Newport News; two sisters, Mrs. David Brooks and Mrs. Chester Brooks, both of Brokenburg, one brother, Glad Brooks, of Brokenburg; 26 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Mrs. Brooks' home by the Rev. L. L. Mason, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, Spotsylvania County. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
