New Era 1908, 05 February 1908 issue-Sun, 12 Dec 1999 Last Sunday, (3 February 1908)Walter E. Essex died at the Grand Central Hotel, after a brief illness of pneumonia. He was the son of George Essex, and was aged about thirty years at the time of his death. The body was taken to Canby for internment Monday and Rev. Charnock (sp?) of this place conducted the service. The deceased was an energetic and highly respected young man and leaves a large number of brothers, sisters and other relatives to whom, we extend sincere sympathy.
