Note 14 Mar 2021 Per researcher Lisa Oakley (49280171) • There is one record to suggest that German died prior to 16 April 1902. On his son Logan's marriage license and return his father German Redman is listed as deceased.

In the 1900 census German Redman is alive with two of his children living with him. His status is recorded as widower however, he and his wife Alice Slaughter Redman have in reality separated. Varies documents reveal that Alice never remarried. She is living with her daughter in 1900, her son Charlie in 1913, and her granddaughter Hassie Cox Pulliam in 1920.
