The family will receive friends Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Mallard Creek Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tommy Bright and Pastor Jimmy Britt officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Dalrymple was born Feb. 26, 1950, in Cabarrus County to Mrs. Mildred Taylor Stowe and the late Harry Flynn Stowe.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve L. Dalrymple.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mildred Taylor Stowe; one daughter, Shelly Hudson; a son, Jason Dalrymple and wife Shari; three sisters, Linda Keasler, Anita Stowe and Milly Almond; one brother, Lexy Stowe; and two grandchildren, Jackson and Logan Dalrymple.
Mrs. Dalrymple was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking. Along with other activities, she enjoyed was music and reading. She especially enjoyed reading to her grandchildren, Jackson and Logan. She will be remembered as loving mother, grandmother and friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Jeff Gordon's Children's Hospital At CMC Northeast, 920 Church St. N, Concord, NC 28025.
Wilkinson Funeral home is handling the arrangements for the Dalrymple family.
