Joey Lynn Dearman was born on September 2, 1966 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Joey was the son of Dorthy Jean Williams and J.L. Dearman. He was the oldest of three children; he has a younger sister, Angela Meitzen and a younger brother, Danny Dearman (not including step siblings).Joey and his wife, Paula had two beautiful children David and Krystal Dearman. Joey enjoyed spending time with his family and being outside, especially by the river. He lived an exciting life picking his guitar and going fishing. Joey was a wonderful singer, father, friend, husband, son, brother, and most of all, a wonderful person. Then on June 16, 1991 Joey Dearman committed suicide in his home in Texas. Joey will be dearly missed by his family and friends, may he rest in peace.
