Clara Bell Hicks Brittain, 87, of Heathsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 21. She was a member of Fairfields Baptist Church, Burgess. She was preceded in deaht by her son, James Roger Bailey Brittain. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Zed Ernest Brittain; a daughter Millie Janett Markham and husband, Greg of Marietta, GA.; a brother, James Russell Hicks of Freedom, NY.; three grandchildren, Scott A. Markham, Toni Lee Abernathy, Nikki R. Trevino, and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral services were December 26, conducted by Rev. Brian Hamrick with burial in Fairfields Baptist Church cemetery, Burgess, Virginia.
