ALSBROOKS, HEATHER LYNN (d. 9-29-1998)
Heather Lynn Alsbrooks, 21, of Glenwood, Crenshaw Co., Ala., died Tues., Sept. 29, 1998, in Troy, Ala., as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Fri., Oct. 2, 1998, in the chapel of Turner Funeral Home, Luverne, Crenshaw Co., with Rev. Mike Green officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery in Glenwood, with Turner Funeral Home directing. The family received friends at the funeral home Thurs., Oct. 1, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Miss Alsbrooks’ survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Henagan of Glenwood; her father, Captain and Mrs. Ronald L. Alsbrooks; grandparents Maurine Walker of Luverne, Annie Pearl Henagan of Brantley, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Alsbrooks of Cullman, Ala.; and Mr. and Mrs. James Foreman of Birmingham; three brothers and their wives, Kirk and Crystal Alsbrooks of Glenwood, Matthew and Jamie Henagan and Nathan and Amy Henagan, all of Grove Town, Ga.; an aunt and uncle, Joel and Renee Duncan of Tallahassee, Fla.; two nieces, Jesse Rollins and Raegan Alsbrooks; and one nephew, Ryan Alsbrooks.
Active pallbearers will be Art and Mac Watson, David Watts, Sims Wingard, Matthew McDougald, and Matthew Keener. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Mitchell, Jamie Grimsley, Travis Bryan, Royce Robinson, Will West, Adolfo Robledo, Rob Lyda, and Nicky Bull. The family requests that any memorial gifts be made to Troy State University’s Music Department for a fund to be established in Heather’s name.
