Violet Waneta Jeffries Bluitt, 85, of Covert made her transition Tuesday, July 3 at her home.
She was born March 24, 1922 in Covert, Michigan to Leroy and Florence Jeffries. She graduated from Covert High School in 1941. In 1979, she returned to Covert. Violet retired from after 30 years of government service with the Internal Revenue Service in Chicago, Illinois.
She leaves her only remaining sibling – Verna (Norris) Curtis. A host of Pomply/Jeffries family members and friends to cherish her memory and celebrate her life.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 7 at 11:30 A.M. at Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Covert. Wake will be from 11:00 – 11:30 at the church before the service. Burial will take place at Covert Cemetery.
